This is the census of 1850 showing this family : BUCKNER George 24 M TN Farmer 150 745-791 Matilda 25 F NC I Amelia 3 F TN William 2 M TN James M. 7/12 M TN (Census taken 9/ /50) -------------------------------------------------- William Nelson Buckner was my Great-Grand-Father who went on to marry Elvira CUTTS in the picture to the left . They had a family consisting of : George Henry Calvin Buckner William Buckner Walter Buckner (These are the only ones I know of at this time) My Grand-Father married Mary Rachel WILLIAMS from Sevierville,Sevier County,Tennessee and had a total of nine children which included my father Henry Chambers Buckner in 1904. Known members are : Scott Buckner Ollie Buckner Dollie Buckner Robert Phelps Buckner Thomas Garfield Buckner Charles Wattenbarger Buckner Lucresia Buckner Henry Chambers Buckner Married Mae Bell SWAFFORD . Leatha Buckner All of these members are now deceased but generated large families on their own .
